ORDINANCE N0. 97
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (a) OF SECTION 2-1 OF
ORDINANCE N0. 39 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO REGULATION OF TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AidD FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of Section 2-1 of Ordinance
No. 39, Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a). Determine and designate the type of
all official traffic control devices; provided,
such official control devices shall, with respect
to size, shape and color, be uniform, shall correlate
with and conform to, the system then current, as
approved by the American Association of State Highway
Officials."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 3, 3.01, AND 8 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 6 (SALARY ORDINANCE) OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING TO NUMBER OF POSITIONS, RATES
OF COMPENSATION AND OVERTIME FOR ALL POSITIONS IN DEPARTMENTS,
OFFICES AND OTHER AGENCIES OF THE COUNTY OF HA4~II UNDER THE
LEGISLATIVE CONTROL OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS.
This Bill amends the Salary Ordinance by incorporating
all classified positions that were budgeted in the 1967-1968
budget and amends the sectio ns relating to overtime and
rate of compensation.
