ORDINANCE N0. 103
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE N0. 41 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING
TO ENCROACHMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 41, Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 2. If any encroachment exists in, under
or over any portion of any street or highway within the
County or if any obstruction exists within the City of
Hilo, and the same shall be observed by or a complaint
thereof made to the Department of Public Works of the
County of Hawaii, then the Department of Public Works
shall investigate and forthwith, in the manner provided
in this Ordinance, give notice to remove such
encroachment or obstruction."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NC. 41 Or^ 'PHE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, RELATING
TG ENCROACHMENT.
This Bill grants the Department of Public Works the
power to investigate and remove any encroachment that
exists in, under or over any portion of any street or highway
within the County or any obstruction that exists within
the City of Hilo.

Reading: October 18, 1967 -- Date Approved: November 1, 1967 -
Date Effective: November 1, 1967.
