ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-B-1 OF ORDINANCE N0. 61,
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO SEWER SERVICE CHARGES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 7-B-1 of Ordinance No. 61, Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
"B. Billing, Collection, and Payment of Charges.
"1. Billing of Charges. The sewer service charge
levied pursuant to this ordinance shall be collected by
the Aureau of Sewers through the Office of the County
Treasurer or any bank designated by the Bureau of Sewers
as an agent for collection. Billing shall be made monthly
for commercial and industrial users and bi-monthly for
residential properties. Payment shall be made within
thirty (30) days after billing. A ten percent penalty
shall be imposed upon accounts which are sixty (60) or
more days overdue."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
