HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1968-152BILL NO, 525 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE NO, 152 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7,10, THE KAWAIHAE-PUAKO ZONE MAP, ORDINANCE NO, 63 (ZONING ORDINANCE), Rr'VISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF A CERTAIN AREA OF LAND FROM VILLAGE COMMERCIAL (CV-10) AND OPEN TO RESORT HOTEL (V-1,25) AND FROM RESORT HOTEL (V-1,25) TO OPEN IN OULI, SOUTH KOHALA, HAWAII, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAIIs SECTION 1, Section 7,10 of Ordinance 63 (Zoning Ordinance), Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following subsection: "7,10(a) The District Classification of the following area situated at ouli, South Kohala, Hawaii, shall be Resort-Hotel Zone (V-1,25): Beginning at a point at the southeast corner of this parcel of land at the common boundary between the lands of ouli and Lalamilo, being also the makai side of the Kawaihae- Puako Road, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "Puako" being 6,139,03 feet north and 2,724,83 feet east and run- ning by azimuths measured Clockwise from true southz 1, 64° 53' 2, 93° 27' 30" 3, 171° 10' 471,32 feet along Hapuna Park (Governor's Executive Order No. 1487); 474,98 feet along Hapuna Park (Governor's Executive Order No, 1487); 108,88 feet; Thence along a curve to the right with a radius of 420,00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 4, 196° 00' 5, 1580 25' 20" 352,78 feet; 552„00 fe?t~' `~'^~ Thence along a curve to the right with a radius of 420,00 `: feet, trhe chord azimuth and distance being: il: d. tJo. _~_1~.`~ File No....__.._ ' ~~ [- $~P 4 1968- SEs 1 5 ?;5i~ 6, 118° 42' 364,49 feet; 7, 144° 25' 120,00 feet; 8, 225° 39' 30" 154,00 feet along the southwest boundary of Robert J, Young lot; 9, 269° 34' 774,97 feet along the south boundary of Robert J, Young lot; Thence along the makai side of the Kawaihae-Puako Road, along a curve to the left with a radius of 430,30 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 10, 321° 50' 36" 152,05 feet; 11, 311° 40' 416,19 feet along the makai side of the Kawaihae-Puako Road; Thence along the makai side of the Kawaihae-Puako Road, along a curve to the right with a radius of 501,70 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 12, 339° 17' 465,13 feet; 13, 6° 54' 345,96 feet along the makai side of the Kawaihae-Puako Road to the point of beginning and contain- ing an area of 28,16 acres more or less, All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and by reference made a part hereof, SECTION 2, Section 7,10 of Ordinance 63 (Zoning Ordinance), Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following subsection: "7,10(b) The District Classification of the following area situated at Ouli, South Kohala, Hawaii, shall be Open zone: Beginning at a point at the southeast corner of this parcel of land being also the north boundary of Hapuna Park (Governor's Executive order No, 1487), the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Tri- angulation Station "Puako" being 5,967,62 feet north and 1,823,96 feet east and running by azimuths measured clock- wise from true south: -2- 1, 93° 27' 30" 267,94 feet along Hapuna Park (Governor's Executive Order No, 1487) to a point at seashore; Thence following along the sea- shore in all its windings along highwater mark, the direct azimuth and distance between points being: 2. 158° 25' 20" 3, 173° 11' 4, 225° 39' 30" 5, 324° 25' 986,97 feet; 165,00 feet along the southeast boundary of Robert J. Young lot; 192.94 feet along the south boundary of Robert J. Young lot; 120.00 feet; Thence along a curve to the left with a radius of 420.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 6. 298° 42' 7, 338° 25' 20" 364.49 feet; 552.00 feet; Thence along a curve to the left with a radius of 420,00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 8, 160 00' 9, 351° 10' 352.78 feet; 108,88 feet to the point of beginning and containing an area of 7,46 acres more or less. All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and by reference made a part hereof," SECTION 3, This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
