ORDINANCE N0. 176
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.05, THE KAILUA-HONALO URBAN
ZONE MAP, ORDINANCE N0. 63 (ZONING ORDINANCE), REVISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED, BY
CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM MULTI-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL (RM-1.5) TO RESORT-HOTEL (V-1.25) IN HOLUALOA,
NORTH KONA, HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD. OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 7.05 of Ordinance No. 63 (Zoning
Ordinance), Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967,
as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the
following subsection:
"7.05(d). The district classification of the
following area situated at Holualoa, North Kona,
Hawaii, shall be Resort-Hotel (V-1.25):
Beginning at a pipe in concrete at the West corner
of this parcel of land and on the Northeast side
of Alii Drive, the coordinates of said point of
beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation
Station "Kahelo" being 5164.52 feet South and 3329.73
feet East, and running by azimuths measured clockwise
from true South:
1. 244° 26' 106.51 feet along a stonewall
along Lots 1 and 2,
Land Court Application
1747 to a pipe in
concrete;
2. 250° 12' 203.62 feet along a stonewall
along Lot 2, Land Court
Application 1747 and
along the remainder of
Allotment "L" of the
Partition of Holualoa
Hui Lands and passing
over a pipe in concrete
marking the East corner
of Lot 2, Land Court
Application 1747 at
173.75 feet;

3. 327° 23' 121.61 feet along the remainder
of Allotment "L" of
the Partition of Holualoa
Hui Lands;
4. 66° 53' 60.32 feet along the remainder of
Allotment "L" of the
Partition of Holualoa Hui
Lands and along property
owned by Alice Joseph to
a stonewall intersection
and passing over a "+" cut
in rock at stonewall corner
at 14.19 feet;
5. 62° 25' 30" 225.50 feet along a stonewall along the
northwesterly boundaries of
properties owned by Alice
Joseph and F. Cushingham to
a point on the Northeast
side of Alii Drive; thence
along the Northeast side of
Alii Drive along a curve to
the left having a radius of
980.40 feet, the chord
azimuth and distance being:
6. 139° 44' 20" 151.43 feet to the point of beginning
and containing an area of
39,787 square feet.
All as outlined in hatch marks on the map attached
hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and by reference made a part
hereof."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
