ORDINANCE N0. 189
ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN ENTITLED "A PLAN FOR THE
METROPOLITAN AREA OF HILO" BY CHANGING THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF HILO,
HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The General Plan entitled "A Plan for the
Metropolitan Area of Hilo" is hereby amended by changing the
land use designation of certain areas of land in the following
respects:
A. Approximately 0.6 acre, from single family residential
at the northeast corner of Lele and Punahele Streets to
neighborhood commercial use. The area is colored in blush on
the map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A" and by reference
made a part hereof.
B. Approximately 0.3 acre, from single family residential
at the south side of Kaumana Drive between Hokulani and Chong
Streets to neighborhood commercial use. The area is colored in
blush on the map attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A" and by
reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF HILO~ HAZ'ZAII.
T'.~is Bill changes the land use designation of certain
areas of land situated at the northeast corner of Lele and
Punahele Streets and at the south side of Kaumana Drive
between Hokulani and Chong Streets from single family
residential to neighborhood commercial use.
