the results of the third survey quarter (1992)
ciguatera monitoring program and 8th well monitoring
program. Informs that Mauna Lani Resort, Inc.
initiated a resort-wide monitoring program in October
1991 which includes offshore water quality and marine
life monitoring, as well as onshore brackish and sea
water well monitoring and ciguatera monitoring.

Comm. 4264: From Dan Davidson, Executive Director, Land Use
Research Foundation (LURF) of Hawaii, dated October 19,
1992, regarding Bill 593, Draft 2, Relating to
Development Agreements. States they continue to be in
support of the Council's effort for the concept of
development agreements and believe the ordinance should
read more like the state law, leaving the detail to the
individual agreements. Submits technical comments to
the bill, as listed.
