Informs that Mauna Lani Resort, Inc. initiated a resort-wide monitoring program in October 1991 which includes offshore water quality and marine life monitoring, as well as onshore brackish and sea water well monitoring and ciguatera monitoring. Bill 593: DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS (Draft 2) Amends the Hawaii County Code by including a new chapter relating to Development Agreements. Intr. by Mr. Domingo Comm. 4264: From Dan Davidson, Executive Director, Land Use Research Foundation (LURF) of Hawaii, dated October 19, 1992, regarding Bill 593, Draft 2, Relating to Development Agreements. States they continue to be in support of the Council's effort for the concept of development agreements and believe the ordinance should read more like the state law, leaving the detail to the individual agreements.
