AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13-F OF ORDINANCE N0. 63 (ZONING
ORDINANCE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967,
AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 13-F of Ordinance No. 63 of the
Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended,
is further amended by adding Section 13-F-2 to read:
"2) For accessory uses such as saran shade and similar
fabric shade structures used in controlling amount
of sunlight in the raising of plants, flowers and
similar horticultural pursuits, side and front
yards shall be at least 10 feet, except where said
boundaries share common lines with urban zones and
main government roads in which case the preceding
Section 13-F requirements shall prevail."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
