AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 235, RELATING TO THE CAPITAL
PROGRAM FOR THE PERIOD FROM JULY 1, 1969 to JUNE 30, 1970.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 235, relating to the Capital
Program for the period from July 1, 1969 to June 30, 1970, is
hereby amended by adding the following projects:
1. Department of Public Works - Roads
a. Kailua-Kona Pedestrian Walkway - $70,000.
2. Department of Parks and Recreation:
a. Kamehameha Park Lights (planning) - $8,500.
SECTION 2. Funds for the above projects are provided by
reducing the appropriation for the Kailua-Kona Parking Lot project
from $100,000 to X30,000, and by transferring $8,500 from the
Contingency Fund (G-8551).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
