HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1970-314BILL NO. 700 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE NO. 3~4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7,29, THE CITY OF HILO ZONE MAP, ORDI- NANCE N0. 63 (ZONING ORDINANCE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM OFFICE COMMERCIAL (CO-20) AND DOUBLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RD-3,75) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG-7,5) IN WAIAKEA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 2-2-23:21 AND 27, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Section 7.29 of Ordinance No. 63 (Zoning Ordinance), Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following subsection: "7,29(e-1). The district classification of the following area situated at Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, shall be General Commercial (CG-7,5): Beginning at the southeast corner of this parcel of land., the north side of the former 40-foot railroad right-of-way, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred. to Government Survey 't'riangulation Station "HALAL" being 2,585.63 feet south and 6,786.58 feet east and running by azimuths measured clock- wise from true south: 1. 1480 10' 78.06 feet; 2, 238° 10' 227,78 feet to the west side of Kilauea Avenue; 3, 340° 06' 36.28 feet along the west side of Kila- uea Avenue to the north side of the former 40-foot railroad right-of-way; Thence along the north side of the former 40-foot railroad right-of-way along a curve to the right with a radius of 395.38 feet, the chord azimuth and distance beings 4. 44° 45' 04.5" 183,46 feet; 5. 58° 10' 41.82 feet along the north side of the former 40-foot railroad right-of- way to the point of beginning and containing an area of 14,854 square feet, "7.29~e-2). The district classification of the following area situated at Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, shall be General Commercial (CG-7.5): Beginning at the northeast corner of this parcel of land, the north side of the former 40-foot railroad. right-of-way, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "HALAL" being 2,565.63 feet south and 6,786.58 feet east and. running by azimuths measured clock- wise from true south: 1. 58° 10' 85.68 feet along the north side of the former 40-foot railroad right- of-way; 2. 148° 10~ 78.06 feet; 3. 238° 10' 85.68 feet; 4, 328° 10' 78,06 feet to the point of beginning and containing an area of 6,688 square feet. All as outlined in red. on the map attached hereto, marked Exh ibit "A," and. by reference made a part hereof." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
