ORDINANCE NO. `X~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1-54 OF ORDINANCE NO. 39,
TRAFFIC CODE, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
1967, RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF A "VEHICLE."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1-54 of Ordinance No. 39, Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 1-54. VEHICLE
Any device, whether self-propelled, drawn, pushed
or pulled, in or upon which any person or thing is or
may be carried from one place to another along a public
highway, including any device manufactured, constructed,
built, assembled or designed to transport people or
things from place to place along a public highway but
which is no longer suitable for or capable of such
transportation."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
