ORDINANCE CIO. 3~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-3 (STOPPING, STANDING OR
PARKING PROHIBITED IN SPECIFIED PLACES) OF ORDINANCE NO. 39
(TRAFFIC CODE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
1967, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NEW ITEM TO PARAGRAPH 2 OF
SUBSECTION (a) OF SAID SECTION 17-3.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Paragraph 2 of Section 17-3(a) of Ordinance
No. 39, Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as
amended, is hereby amended by the addition of a new item
thereto to read as follows:
"h. Except where otherwise specifically provided
for by ordinance applicable to driveways located upon
the following streets, in front of or within 30 feet
of any driveway located on Aupuni and Pauahi Streets
in the City of Hilo."
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby
directed to indicate by sign or by markings painted upon the
curbings the areas within which parking has been prohibited
by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
