AM[NDING ORDINANCE N0. 337 (CODE OF ETHICS).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COl1NTY COUNCIL. OF THE. COUNTY OF I1AWAll:
SECTION I. Section S of Ordinance No. 337 is hereby
amended as follows:
A. By deleting the phrase "upon two-thirds (2/3) vote of
the Board or" in line 6 of Subsection A(i) thereof; in line
7 of Subsection A(2) thereof; and in line 8 of the second
paragraph of Subsection A(3) thereof.
R. By adding the following sentence to the second
paragraph of Subsection A(I) and Subsection A('L):
"Upon receipt of the petition the Roard, through
its Chairman, shall notify the County officer or employee
involved and shall request of him a statement indicating
whether or not he wishes a closed hearing."
C. By adding the following sentence to the second
paragraph of Subsection A(3):
"Prior to any hearing, the Board, through its
Chairman, shall notify the County officer or employee
involved and shall request of him a statement indicating
whether or not he wishes a closed hearing."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval.
