ORDINANCE N0. ~~~-
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 9 OF ORDINANCE N0. 39(TRAFFIC
CODE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS
AMENDED, BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION THERETO DESIGNATING
STOP INTERSECTIONS IN RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISIONS IN PUNA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COiINTY OF HAWAII:
SEC. 1. Article 9 of Ordinance No. 39, Revised Ordinances
of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby amended by
the addition of a new section thereto, to read as follows:
"Section 9-8 Designation of Stop Intersections. The
following intersections are designated as stop intersections
and shall be effective when appropriate signs giving notice
thereof are erected.
"(a) Puna
1. Kaniahiku Subdivision.
a. Entering Kaulalaau Road from Pualaa Road.
b. Entering Kauilani Road from Kaulalaau Road.
2. Kaniahiku Houselots
a. Entering Halelo Place from Naele Road.
b. Entering Halelo Place from Mako Way."
SEC. 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
