ORDINANCE N0. 4O2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 327, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
THE CAPITAL BUDGET FOR THE PERIOD FROM JULY 1, 1970 TO JUNE 30, 1971.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 327, as amended, relating to the
Capital Budget for the period from July 1, 1970 to June 30, 1971,
is hereby further amended by adding the following projects:
A. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS:
ROADS:
1. Waianuenue-Lahi Corner (makai) $$,000
Improvement
B. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION:
1. Floodlighting Honokaa High School $15,000
Athletic Field
2. Keauhou School Playground 21,000
SECTION 2. Item B-17, Waiohinu Park Lights, in Ordinance
No. 327 is changed to Kau Parks to include Naalehu Park and~or
Waiohinu Park.
SECTION 3. Funds for these projects shall be provided from
available cash or issuance of general obligation bonds.
SECTION k. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 327, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE

This Bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. 327, relating to the
Capital Budget for the period from July 1, 1970, to June 30, 1971,
by adding the following projects:
A. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS:
ROADSs
1. Waianuenue-Lehi Corner (makai) $8,000
Improvement
B. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION:
1. Floodlighting Honokaa High School $15,000
Athletic Field
2. Keauhou School Playground 21,000
This Bill further proposes that Item B-17, Waiohinu Park Lights,
in Ordinance No. 327 is changed to Kau Parks to include Naalehu Park
and~or Waiohinu Park and that the funds for these projects shall be
provided from available cash or issuance of general obligation bonds.
