AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-5 (c) (SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 39 (TRAFFIC CODE) BY AMENDING SUBPARAGRAPH
22 THEREOF, AND AMENDING SECTION 10-5 (e) BY DELETING SUB-
PARAGRAPH 13, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967,
AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Subparagraph 22 of Section 10-5 (c) is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"22. Palani Road from Hawaii Belt Road to Kuakini
Highway."
SECTION 2. Subparagraph 13 of subsection (e) of
Section 10-5 of Ordinance No. 39, Revised Ordinances of the
County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, be and the same is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-5(c) (SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS) OF ORDINANCE
N0, 39 (TRAFFIC CODE) BY AMENDING SUBPARAGRAPH 22 THEREOF, AND AMENDING
SECTION LO-5(e) BY DELETING SUBPARAGRAPH 13, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII 19671 AS AMENDED,
This Bill proposes to amend Ordinance No, 39 (Traffic Code) by
amending Section 10-5(c)22 of Ordinance No. 274 by creating a 35-mph
speed zone on Palani Road from the Hawaii Belt Road to Kuakini Highway;
further, repeals Section LO-5(e)13 as amended by Ordinance No, 274 which
creates a 45-mph speed zone on the Palani Road from the Hawaii Belt Road
to Kuakini Highway except where the residential district speed limit is
in effect,
