ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE (1) TO AMEND SECTION 17-3(a)l, NO STOPPING,
STANDING OR PARKING ZONES, OF ORDINANCE NO. 39 (TRAFFIC CODE),
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 396 (SECTION 1), AND (2) TO
REPEAL SECTION 17-8 (c) OF SECTION 2, ORDINANCE N0. 311,
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 17-3(a)1(i), Stopping, Standing or
Parking Prohibited in Specified Places, is amended by adding
subsection (a) to subsection 6 - Kona, to read as follows:
6 - Kona
"(a) In Captain Cook, on the west side of Route 11,
beginning at a point .15 mile south of Napoopoo
Road (Palipoko Road) intersection in a southerly
direction to Hind Drive."
SECTION 2. Section 17-8(c) of Section 2, Ordinance No.
311 is hereby repealed.

AN ORDINANCE (1) TO AMEND SECTION LJ-3(a)1, NO STOPPING, STANDING OR
PARKING ZONES, OF ORDINANCE N0. 39 (TRAFFIC CODE), AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 396 (SECTION 1), AND (2) TO REPEAL SECTION 17-8(c)
OF SECTION 2, ORDINANCE NO. 311, REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED.
This Bill proposes to amend Section 17-3(a)1, No Stopping, Standing
or Parking Zones, of Ordinance No. 39, Traffic Code, as amended by
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 396, by establishing and designating as no
stopping, standing or parking zones in Captain Cook, on the west side
of Route 11, beginning at a point .15 mile south of Napoopoo Road
(Palipoko Road) intersection in a southerly direction to Hind Drive.
This Bill further proposes to repeal Section 17-8(c) of Section 2,
Ordinance No. 311, which designates as no parking zone in Captain Cook,
on the west side of Route 1.1, beginning at a point .15 mile south of
Napoopoo Road (Palipoko Road) intersection for a distance of 400 feet
in a southerly direction.
