ORDINANCE NO, ~~~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15 OF ORDINANCE NO. 63 (ZONING
ORDINANCE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967,
AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO PERMITTED USES WITHIN RESORT-HOTEL (V)
DISTRICTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1, Legislative Intent, It is the intent of the
Council of the County of Hawaii to promote the utilization of
appropriately zoned areas in accordance with the existing and
projected needs of the neighborhood, community, region and
County, It is the further intention of the County Council that
the proposed amendment will implement the purpose and intent of
the General Plan of the County of Hawaii by permitting reasonable
and compatible land uses within specific districts,
SECTION 2, Subsection B-2 of Section 15 of Ordinance No, 63
of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2, Single-family, duplex or double-family and multiple-
family residential dwellings,"
SECTION 3, This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval,
