ORDINANCE NO. .~wu
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-5(c) AND SECTION 10-5(e),
SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS, OF ORDINANCE NO. 39 (TRAFFIC CODE),
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Item 18 of Section 10-5(e) is amended to
read:
"18. The Honokaa-Waipio Road, from the Waipunahoe
Stream Bridge to Nienie Stream Bridge except through
Kaauhuhu Homestead, Kapulena, and Camp 10."
SECTION 2. Item 20 of Section 10-5(c) is amended to
read:
"20. The Honokaa-Waipio Road, from the westerly
side of the Kaauhuhu Homestead to the easterly side
of the Kapulena Subdivision Unit 1."
SECTION 3. Section 10-5(c) is amended by adding the
following new item thereto:
"29. The Honokaa-Waipio Road, from a point 600 feet
west of Camp 106 to the Waipunahoe Stream Bridge."
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-5(c) AND SECTION 10-5(e),
SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS, OF ORDINANCE NO. 39 (TRAFFIC CODE),
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUN'T'Y OF HAWAII, AS AMENDED.
This bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. 39, Traffic Code,
by amending Item 18 of Section 10-5(e) by creating a 45 miles
per hour speed zone on the Honokaa-Waipio Road, from the
Waipunahoe Stream Bridge to Nienie Stream Bridge except through
Kaauhuhu Homestead, Kapulena, and Camp 10; further amends
Item 20 of Section 10-5(c) by creating a 35 miles per hour
speed zone on the Honokaa-Waipio Road, from the cesterly side
of the Kaauhuhu Homestead to the easterly side of the Kapulena
Subdivision Unit 1; further adds Item 29 of Section 10-5(c)
by establishing a 35 miles per hour speed zone on the Honokaa-
Waipio Road, from a point 600 feet west of Camp 106 to the
Waipunahoe Stream Bridge.
