ORDINANCE NO. 't~1
AN ORDINANCE AFFIRMING TRANSFERS OF FUNDS MADE BY RESOLUTION
NUMBERS 497, 506, AND 507, AND RESTORING FUNDS TRANSFERRED
FROM DEBT SERVICE ACCOUNT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Actions taken in the following Resolutions are
affirmed:
a. Resolution No. 497 adopted on April 19, 1972, which
transferred $38,055 from G-9013 interest on GO Bonds - County
to G-8900 Judgment, Alamide vs. Wilson, County of Hawaii, et al;
b. Resolution No. 506 adopted on May 3, 1972, which
transferred $23,000 from G-9013 Interest on GO Bonds - County to
G-8311 Contributions and Transfer to Other Funds for purchase of
Kuemanu Heiau; and
c. Resolution No. 507 adopted on May 3, 1972, which
transferred $28,237.80 from G-9013 Interest on GO Bonds - County
to G-8901 Settlement 1967 Naalehu Flood Claims.
SECTION 2. The sum of $89,292.80 is hereby transferred
from the Fund Balance account in the General Fund to G-9013
Interest on GO Bonds - County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AFFIRMING TRANSFERS OF FUNDS MADE BY RESOLUTION

This Bill affirms the transfer of 538,055 from G-9013 interest
on GO Bonds - County to G-8900 Judgment, alamida vs. Wilson,
County of Hawaii, et al; 523,000 from G-9013 Interest on GO
Bonds - County to G-8311 Contributions and Transfer to Other
Funds for purchase of Kuemanu Heiau; $28,237.80 from G-9013
Interest on GO Bonds - County to G-8901 Settlement 1967 Naalehu
Flood Claims; and transfers the sum of 589,292.80 from the Fund
Balance account in the General Fund to G-9013 Interest on c;O
Bonds - County.

The attached ordinance bill affirms transfers of funds made
by Resolution Nos. 497, 506, and 507 and restores funds
transferred out of the debt service account. i'he Corporation
Counsel has interpreted that the Charter does not allow
transfers out of the debt service account even though excess
funds are available in such account.
