AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.03, THE SOUTH KONA ZONE MAP, ORDINANCE N0.
63 (ZONING ORDINANCE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS
AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM AGRICULTURAL (A-1a)
TO NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL (CN-7.5) AT KILOA 1 AND 2 AN17 WAIPUNAULA, SOUTH
KONA, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 8-2-03:PORTION OF 'i2.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 7.03 of Ordinance No. 63 (Zoning Ordinance),
Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding thereto the following subsection:
"7.03 (i). The district classification of the following area
situated at Kiloa 1 and 2 and Waipunaula, South Kor_a, Hawaii, shall be
Neighborhood Commercial (CN-7.5):
Beginning at the northwest corner of this parcel of land, the coordinates
of which referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "LAE 0
KANONI~' being 20,003.14 feet North and 3,605.46 feet East, and thence
running by azimuths measured clockwise from true South:
1. 301° 43' 30" 118.80 feet along remainder of Grant
867 to Prest Cummings;
Thenc e along remainder of Grant 867 to Prest Cummings on a 2684.79
foot radius curve to the right, the ch ord azimuth and distance being:

foot radius curve to the left, the cho rd azimuth and distance being:

7. 121° 43' 30" 152.89 feet along remainder of Grant
867 to Prest Cummings;
8. 226° 49' '75.92 feet along the s utheastern side
of existing roadway, along
remainder of Grant 867 to Prest
Cummings;
9• 232° 55' 40.98 feet along the southeastern side
of existing roadway, along
remainder of Grant 867 to Prest
Cummings to the point of beginning
and containing an area of 9.2g5
Acres.
All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit
"A" and by reference made a part hereof."
SECTION 2. Section 9 of this ordinance shall take effect forthwith
upon the condition that the proposed development comply with the goals,
policies, and standards for commercial development as specified by the
General Plan document.
SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other par ;s of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon .ts approval.

'Phis Bill proposes to amend the South Kona gone hlap by
changing the district classification for approximately
1.295 acres of land situated in Kiloa 1 and 2 and waipunaula,
South Kona, Hawaii, from an agricultural (A-lal to neighborhood
commercial (CN-7.5) zoned district.
Date introduced: June 21, 1972
