AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7,02, THE NORTH KONA ZONE MAP, ORDINANCE
NO, 63, (ZONING ORDINANCE), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM
AGRICULTURAL (A-la) TO RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL (RA-,Sa) AT KEAUHOU
1st, NORTH KONA, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 7-8-07:33,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1, Section 7,02 of Ordinance No, 63 (Zoning Ordinance),
Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding thereto the following subsection:
"7,02 (cc), The district classification of the following
area situated at Keauhou 1st, North Kona, Hawaii, shall be
residential-agricultural (RA-,5a):
Beginning at a pipe in concrete, No, 4, at the southeast corner
of this parcel of land, the coordinates of which referred to
Government Survey Triangulation Station "KEAUHOU COAST" being
3941,64 feet north and 9095,67 feet east, and thence running
by azimuths measured clockwise from true south:
1, 69° 30' 313,86 feet along stonewall along R, P, 4475,
L, C, Aw, 7713, Apana 7 to
Victoria Kamamalu;
2, 161° 40' 161,84 feet along the easterly side of
Kuakini Highway, F,A,P, No,
F-011-1(6);
3, 710 40' 5,00 feet along jog in right-of-way
boundary of Kuakini Highway,
F,A,P, No, F-011-1(6);
4, 161° 40' 67,15 feet along the easterly side of
Kuakini Highway, F,A,P, No,
F-011-1(6);
5, 262° 49' 106,47 feet along stonewall, along R, P,
4358, L, C, Aw, 9752 to
Kauhikoa;
6, 259° 02' 30" 32,51 feet along stonewall, along R, P,
4358, L, C, Aw, 9752 to
Kauhikoa;
7. 252° 34' 30" 164,13 feet along stonewall, along R, P,
4358, L, C, Aw, 9752 to
Kauhikoa;
8, 336° 18' 190.59 feet along the westerly side of
Mamalahoa Highway to the point
of beginning and containing an
area of 1,424 acres,
"All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof,"
SECTION 2, Section 1 of this ordinance shall take effect forth-
with upon the condition that the owner or lessee of the subject land
submit a subdivision plan and secure preliminary approval within one
year from the date of approval of the change of zone request, Should
this condition not be met, the Planning Commission shall reserve the
right to initiate action to rezone the subject area to its former
designation,
SECTION 3, In the event that any portion of this ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts
of this ordinance,
SECTION 4, This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval,

This Bill proposes to amend the North Kona Zone Map by changing
the district classification for approximately 1.424 acres of land
situated. in Keauhou 1st, North Kona, Hawaii, from an agricultural
(A-la) zoned district to a residential-agricultural (RA-.Sa) zoned
district.
