AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLES 7
AND 15, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII;
SECTION 1. The '°PUNA" district classification of
Schedule 1 in Chapter 6, Article 7, Section 1C, Hawaii County
Code, as amended, is hereby amended by the addition of a new
item thereto to read as follows:
"6. Entering the Kahakai Boulevard-PUnawai
Street intersection from the northeastern leg of
Kahakai Boulevard and from Punawai Street, the
southwestern leg of the intersection."
SECTION 2. The "SOUTH HILO" district classification
of Schedule 8 in Chapter 6, Article 15, Section 8B, Hawaii
County Code, as amended, is hereby amended by changing item
No. 34 "a distance of 35 feet" in the third line to read
"a distance of 170 feet."
SECTION 3. The "SOUTH HILO" district classification of
Schedule 8 in Chapter 6, Article 15, Section 8B, Hawaii
County Code, as amended, is hereby amended by changing items
Nos. 28 and 64 to read, respectively, as follows:
"28. On the south (Puna) side of Kawailani
Street from Kilauea Avenue to Komohana Street."
"64. On the south (Puna) side of Wailuku Drive
from Shipman Street to Kekaulike Street."
SECTION 4. The "SOUTH HILO" district classification of
Schedule 8, Chapter 6, Article 15, Section 8, Hawaii County
Code, as amended, is hereby amended by the addition of new
items thereto to read as follows:
"78. On the makai side of Kinoole Street from
Kawailani Street and extending for a distance of
100 feet in the Hamakua direction."
"79. On the makai side of Kinoole Street from
a point 115 feet south (Puna) of Mohouli Street to
a point 80 feet north (Hamakua) of Mohouli Street."
"80. On the mauka side of Kinoole Street from
Mohouli Street and extending for a distance of 130 feet
in the Hamakua direction."
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
