COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
ORDINANCE NO. S5';
AN ORDINANCE CREATING A SPECIAL TRUST FUND ENTITLED THE
"FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
Section 1. Section 10-12 of the Charter of the County of
Hawaii provides that special funds may be established as
necessary for the proper and efficient segregation of fiscal
operation of the county.
Section 2. Pursuant to State and Local Fiscal Assistance
Act of 1972 (Title I, P.L. 92-512), effective October 20, 1972,
the county will be receiving revenue sharing funds from
January 1, 1972 to December 31, 1976, and is required to
establish a trust fund for deposit of these funds.
Section 3. A special trust fund entitled "Federal Revenue
Sharing Fund" is hereby created for proper accounting of receipts
and disbursements of funds received pursuant to Section 2.

AN ORDINANCE CREATING A SPECIAL TRUST FUND ENTITLED THE
"FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND."
This Bill proposes to create a special trust fund
entitled "Federal Revenue Sharing Fund" for proper
accounting of receipts and disbursements of funds received
pursuant to State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972
(Title I, P.L. 92-512) in accordance with Section 10-12 of
the Charter of the County of Hawaii to establish special
funds for the proper and efficient segregation of fiscal
operation of the county.
Date Introduced: January 3, 1973
Copies of the foregoing Bill, in full, are on file in the
Office of the County Clerk for use and examination by the public.
