HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1973-580BILL N0. 983 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE N0. )~~~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 502 OF THE RE~/ISED ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1967, AS AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE PLUMBING CODE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Section 17 of Ordinance 502, Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: ~~SECTION 17. Table A, at the end of Chapter 2, shall be amended. ~~(a) By amending under the column Footnotes Remarks for Homogeneous Bituminized Fiber Drain and Sewer Pipe to read Notes 1 and 5~. ~~(b) By adding immediately below the words Compression Joints, vitrified clay pipe, bell and spigot pipe, the following words and numbers: Concrete sewer pipe, (ASTM) C-14-52 or 55.E ~~(c) By adding at the bottom of Table A the footnote 5 to read as follows: ~5. This pipe is to be installed strictly to the manufac- turer~s specifications. Each installation shall be considered on its own merits and the Administrative Authority shall determine additional installation require- ments based on soil, loading and climatic conditions.~~~ SECTION 2. Section 33 of Ordinance 502, Revised Ordinance of the County of Hawaii 1967, as amended, is hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
