RE: Resolution No. 328-00, Draft 3
This is to transmit Resolution No. 328-00, Draft 3, which proposes the following amendments
based upon a discussion with Corporation Counsel as to the specificity of the title:
"RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF A WATER LINE EASEMENT
WITHIN THE COUNTY RIGHT-OF-WAY AT KAAPOKO HOMESTEADS, SOUTH
HILO, HAWAII...."
It was felt that the reference to the tax map key plat provided the public with more locational
information than would be available if it were removed. To provide the reader with greater
understanding of the water line easement, the words "WITHIN THE COUNTY RIGHT-OF-
WAY" was added in the title.
Additionally, the easement documents and maps are being referenced as Exhibit A in the
resolution and the reversion clause is being added to the first RESOLVED clause.
