AN ORDINANCE AP9ENDING ~HAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 6, HAWAII COUN Y CODE, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Sectipn 6 of Chapter 6, Article 8, Hawaii
County Code, a:s amended, is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following :subsection:
"C. No person shall drive a motor vehicle on
a highway at a speed lower than the required
minimum speed, ifi to do so would impede other vehicular
traffic, and such person shall pull to the side of the
highway wherever safe to do so and stop if necessary
to allow other vehicles to pass such slow-moving vehicle."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 6, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of Chapter 6, Article 8, Hawaii
County Code, as amended, is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following subsection:
"C. No person shall drive a motor vehicle on
a highway at a speed lower than the required
minimum speed so as to impede other vehicular traffic
without pulling t.o the side of the highway wherever
safe to do so anc. stop if necessary to allow other
vehicles to pass such slow-moving vehicle."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

higher speed highways.
