HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1974-055BILL NO. 6~ COUNTY OF - STATE OF HAWAII N0. a~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.0 , THE KAILUA-HONALO URBAN ZONE MAP OF CHAPTER 8 (ZONING CODE), ARTICLE 2, HAWAI COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM OPEN (O) TO MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (RM-2.0) AT KEAUHOU 1ST, NORTH KONA, HAWAI COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 7-8-10:25 & PORTION OF 36. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF SECTION 1. Section 7.05 of County Code, as amended, is following subsection: COUNTY OF HAWAII: 8 (Zoning Code), Article 2, Hawaii further amended by adding thereto the "7.05(p). The district classification of the following area sit- uated at Keauhou 1st, North ona, Hawaii, shall be Multiple Family Resi- dential (RM-2.0): Beginning at the Southeast cc corner of Area 12 and on the dinates of said point of begs angulation Station "KEAUHOU C feet East, and running thence South: rner of this parcel of land, the Northeast southwest side of Alii Highway, the coor- zning referred to Government Survey Tri- ~AST" being 4,867.37 feet North and 2,347.05 by azimuths measured clockwise from true Along Area 12, along the remainder of R. P. 4475, L. C. Aw. 7713, Apana 7 to V. Kamamalu, on a curve to the left having a radius of 20.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being 1. 99° 46' 13" 2. 53° 59' 30" 3. 71° 59' 55.5" 4. 90° 00' 21" 5. 0° 00' 21" 6. 86° 56' 20" 7. 88° 42' 40" 8.67 feet; 2.68 feet along Area 12, along the remainder of R. P. 4475, L. C. Aw. 7713, Apana 7 to V. Kamamalu; Thence along same, on a curve to the right having a radius of 110.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being 8.01 feet; 9.07 feet along Area 12, along the remainder of R. P. 4475, L. C. Kamamalu; Thence along same, on a curve to the left having a radius of 20.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being 15. 188° 12' 47" 28.67 feet; Thence along the Southwest side of Alii Highway on a curve to the right having a radius of 1124.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being 16. 323° 59' 30" 61.07 feet to the point of beginning and con- taining an area of 0.377 acre. "All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit 'A' and by reference made a part hereof." SECTION 2. Section 1 of this ordinance shall take effect forthwith upon the conditions that (A) the applicant, Kamehameha Development Corporation, in behalf of the B. P. Bishop Estate, submit a consolidation and resubdivision plan and secure tentative approval within one (1) year of the date of approval of the change of zone request; and (B) all historical sites in the area be con- sidered. Should the foregoing conditions not be met, action may be initiated to rezone the area to its former designation. SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance. - 2 - SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
