ORDINANCE NO. ~~ ~+.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 585, APPROPRIATING ESTIMATED
REVENUES, RECEIPTS AND FUND BALANCES FOR EXPENDITURE IN THE
FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1974.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 585, is hereby
amended by adjusting revenues as follows:
a. Reduce "Real Property Taxes" in the General Fund by
$1,300,725, from $14,893,153 to $13,592,428.
b. Increase "Fund Balance From Previous Year" in the General
Fund by $1,269,930, from $1,650,000 to $2,919,930.
c. Increase "Fund Balance From Previous Year" in the Highway
Fund by $214,324, from $300,000 to $514,324.
d. Reduce "Fund Balance From Previous Year" in the Sewer
Fund by $4,568, from $50,000 to 45,432.
e. Add new amount of $3,173 to "Fund Balance From Previous
Year" in the Parking Meter Fund.
f. Adjust respective totals and extensions.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 585 is further
amended by adjusting proposed expenditures as follows:
a. Reduce "Provision for Collective Bargaining Salary
Increase" in the General Fund by $30,795, from $900,000 to
$869,205.
b. Increase "Contingency" in the Highway Fund by $214,324,
from $29,683 to $244,007.
c. Decrease "Contingency" in the Sewer Fund by $4,568,
from $20,000 to $15,432.
d. Increase "Contingency" in the Parking Meter Fund by
$3,173, from $2,706 to $5,879.
e. Adjust respective totals and extensions.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

This Bill amends Ordinance No. 585, appropriating estimated
revenues, receipts and fund balances for expenditure in the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1974.
