ORDINANCE NO. ~ §~k~'
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 10,
SECTION 1 (ONE-WAY STREETS), ARTICLE 15, SECTION 7 (TIME-
LIMIT PARKING ZONES), AND ARTICLE 16, SECTIONS 2 (STANDING
IN FREIGHT LOADING ZONES}, 3 (BUS STOP ZONES) AND 3A, HAWAII
COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Schedule 4 of Chapter 6, Article 10, Section 1,
Hawaii County Code, is amended by adding a new item to read
as follows:
"22. The southernmost driveway at the Mooheau
Bus Terminal in the makai direction and the area
fronting the bus terminal in the Hamakua direction."
SECTION 2. item 4 under the heading "THIRTY-SIX MINUTE
PARKING AREAS" of Schedule 7, Section 7, Article 15, Chapter 6,
Hawaii County Code, is repealed.
SECTION 3. Schedule 7 of Section 7, Article 15, Chapter 6,
Hawaii County Code, is amended by adding a new item under the
heading "ONE-HOUR PARKING AREAS" to read as follows:
"21. Kalakaua Street, from Kinoole Street to
Keawe Street."
SECTION 4. Schedule 10 of Section 2, Article 16,
Chapter 6, Hawaii County Code, is amended by adding a new
item to read as follows:
"21. Nawahi Lane, Hamakua side, beginning from
a point 30 feet mauka of Kamehameha Avenue and extending
in the mauka direction for a distance of 22 feet."
SECTION 5. The following item is added to new
Schedule 12 of Section 3, Article 16, Chapter 6, Hawaii
County Code:
"1. Pauahi Street, Puna side, from a point
200 feet mauka of Aupuni Street and extending 130 feet
in the mauka direction."
SECTION 6. Section 3A of Article 16, Chapter 6, Hawaii
County Code, is amended by changing it to read as follows:
"A. The driver of a bus shall not stand or park
such bus upon any street at any place within any
business district other than at an officially designated
bus stop as described in Schedule 12."
SECTION 7. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 10, SECTION 1
(ONE-WAY STREETS), ARTICLE 15, SECTION 7 (TIME-LIMIT PARKING ZONES),
AND ARTICLE 16, SECTIONS 2 (STANDING IN FREIGHT LOADING ZONES), 3
(BUS STOP ZONES) AND 3A, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED.
This Bill amends the Traffic Code regarding one-way streets, time-
limit parking zones, standing in freight loading zones and bus stop
zones.
