AN ORDINCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 (ZONING CODE), ARTICLE 1, SECTION 6.02,
HAWAII C UNTY CODE, :SS AMENDED, RELATING TO DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY
TO BE SU MITTED FOR AMENDMENTS TO DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
BE IT ORLIAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SEC~ION 1. Chapter 8, Article 1, Section 6.02-A-2), Hawaii
County Cade, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2)', In the event the Planning Director recommends approval of
the'Iproposal, the proposal shall be forwarded to the Planning
Commission for :its review and recommendation to the County
Council. The applicant shall file a [metes and bounds descrip-
tion] map and description by metes and bounds of the property
as gertified by a surveyor prior to the Planning Commission's
filing a report of their findings and action taken with the
County Council."
SEC~ION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material
is underscored. When incorporating this ordinance into the Hawaii
County Cade, the incorporator need not include the brackets, the
bracketed material, or the underscoring.
SEC'I#ION 3~ This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
