AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 50, INCORPORATING INTO CHAPTER 2,
ARTICLE 3, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, CONCERNING REGULATIONS
OF PARKING AT THE COUNTY BUILDING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF PARKING FEES
FOR COUNTY PERSONNEL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY 'THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 2, Article 3, Section 1.23(c), Hawaii
County Code, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows:
"(c) Special parking permits may be issued by the Depart-
ment of Public Works at its discretion allowing parking in metered
areas without the 'necessity of payment /on a temporary basis/ so as
to accommodate the necessary intermittent needs of governmental
and related operations."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material
is underscored. The bracketed. material or the underscoring need
not be included in printing this ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 50, INCORPORATING INTO CHAPTER 2,
ARTICLE 3, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, CONCERNING REGULATIONS
OF PARKING AT THE COUNTY BUILDING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF PARKING FEES
FOR COUNTY PERSONNEL.
This Bill amends Ordinance SC, incorporating into Chapter 2,
Article 3, Hawaii County Code, as amended, to allow parking within
metered areas in situations such as police officers on official
business at the State or County Buildings and media personnel when
covering activities .at the County Building.
Date Introduced: February 6, 1976
