ORDINANCE N0. ~ ~~
AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE PAYROLL C]~E.4R9NCE FUND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUPJ*iY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Pursuant i:o Section 10--2 of the County Charter, there
is created the Payrol'_ Clearance Fund to be used to pay all salaries and
wages of County employees, unless specifically exempted by the Director
of Finance.
SECTION 2. Without any other author^ization the Director of Finance
may transfer necessary monies from any other fund to the Payroll Clearance
Fund for the payment of salaries and wages to County employees and to
their assignees.
SECTION 3. Any amount of lapsed or cancelled warrants shall be
returned to the originating fund if no duplicate warrant is to be is:;ued.
SECTION 4. This ordinance sha11 be effective upon its approval but
implementation shall be timed to conversion of the payroll/personnel system.

AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE PAYROLL CLEARANCE FUND
This Bill creates a payroll clearance fund in preparation for
implementation of a computerized payroll/personnel system.
Date Introduced: February 6, 1976
