AN ORDINANCE i1MENDING CHAPTER 6, (TRAFFIC CODE) , ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 5 (SPECIAL SPEED LIMI'T'S), HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS
AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ITAWAII:
SECTION :L. Schedule 5 of Chapter 6, Article 8, Section 5,
Hawaii County Code, is hereby further amended by the addition
of the follow:Lng new items under the THIRTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR
category, to :read as follows:
"25. On Route 11 (Mamalahoa Highway) from a point
approximately 2/10 of a mile on the Naalehu side of the
67 mile post (66,8) toward Pahala to a point approximately
2/10 of .a mile on the Naalehu side of the 63 mile post
(63.2)."
SECTION 2. Schedule 5 of Chapter 6, Article 8, Section S,
Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby further amended by
repealing Item 1 and rewordirng Item 6 under the FORTY-FIVE MILES
PER HOUR category, to read as follows:
"6. On Route li (Mamalahoa Highway and Hawaii Belt
Road) from a point approximately 2/10 of a mile on the
Naalehu :side of the 63 mile post toward Pahala i:o a point
1,200 feet on the Hilo side of the Honuapo Landing Road."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6, (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 5 (SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS), HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED.
This Bill amends Chapter 6 (Traffic Code), Article 8, Section 5,
Hawaii County Code, as amended, to establish speed limits along
Route 11 (Mamalahoa Highway) in Kau.
Date Introduced: March 3, 1976
Copies of the foregoing Bill, in full, are on file in the office
of the County Clerk for use and examination by the public.
