ORDINANCE NO. ~rVB
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 139 TO PROVIDE THAT IN THE
EVENT BOND ANTICIPATION NOTES ARE ISSUED IN ANTICIPATION OF THE
ISSUANCE AND SALE OF BONDS AUTHORIZED BY SAID ORDINANCE, SUCH
BONDS MAY BE ISSUED AT ANY TIME WITHIN FIVE YEARS OF THE DATE
OF ISSUANCE OF ANY SUCH NOTES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
Section 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 139 adopted by
the Council of the County of Hawaii on August 20, 1975, is hereby
amended that said section reads in its entirety as follows:
"SECTION 5. General obligation bond anticipation
notes are hereby authorized for issuance and sale by
the Director of Finance in anticipation of the issuance
and sale of the general obligation bonds authorized
herein. The issuance and details of the notes shall 'be
governed by the provisions of Section 47-2.2, Hawaii
Revised Statutes, as amended. Notwithstanding the
limitation contained in Section 4 hereof Bonds in antici-
pation of which bond anticipation Notes are or have 'been
issued pursuant to this section may be issued in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance at any
time within five years of the date of issuance of the
first notes issued in anticipation of such Bonds."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 139 TO PROVIDE THAT IN THE
EVENT BOND ANTICIPATION NOTES ARE ISSUED IN ANTICIPATION OF THE
ISSUANCE AND SALE OF BONDS AUTHORIZED BY SAID ORDINANCE, SUCH
BONDS MAY BE ISSUED AT ANY TIME WITHIN FIVE YEARS OF THE DATE
OF ISSUANCE OF ANY SUCH NOTES.
This Bill amends Ordinance No. 139 to provide that in the
event Bond Anticipation Notes are issued in anticipation of
the issuance and sale of Bonds authorized by said ordinance,
such Bonds may be issued at any time within 5 years of the date
of issuance of any such Notes.
