ORDINANCE No. 2~9
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 4,
HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1975, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO RIGHT-OF-WAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 6, Article 4, Hawaii County Code 1975,
as amended, is hereby amended 'by adding a new section to read
as follows:
"Sec. 2. Operation of Vehicles on Waipio Valley Road.
Makai-bound traffic shall yield to mauka-bound
traffic on the access road into Waipio Valley
except at those areas designated by the Chief
Engineer with regulation signs noting otherwise."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

County Code 1975, as amended, relating to control of traffic on
Waipio Valley Road.
