AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1.7, ARTICLE 3, SECTION 4, HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1975, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THE PARK DEDICATION CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 17, Article 3, Section 4, as amended,
relating to the effective date of the Park Dedication Code is
hereby further amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 4. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect as of [July 1, 1977.]
October 1, 1977."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. When incorporating this Ordinance
into the Hawaii. County Code 1975, the incorporator need not
include the brackets, the bracketed material, or the underscoring.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

the effective date of the Park. Dedication Code be delayed
due to a State legislative bill substantially amending the
Park Dedication statute, HRS Section 46-6, enclosed is a bill
amending the effective date of the Park Dedication Code.

County Code, by changing the effective date of the Park Dedication
Code to October 1, 1977,
