ORDINANCE CO. ~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE 2, HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1975, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO PROHIBITION OF SMOKING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 17 of Chapter 3, Article 2
(enacted into law by Ordinance No. 279, which was adopted
on June 1, 1977), Hawaii County Code 1975, as amended,
is hereby further amended by adding the following:
"E. Mass transportation busses which provide
to the public general or :>pecial service on a
regular and continuing basis."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

This Bill amends Chapter 3, Article 2, Hawaii County Code
1975, restrictinq smoking in mass transportation busses which
provide to the public general or specie~l service on a regular and
continuing basis.
