ORDINANCE NO. `3~9
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 15, SECTICrI 8 AND ARTICLE 16,
SECTIONS 1 AND 4 OF CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODEj, HAWAII COUNTY
CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO "NO PARKING ZONE" AND "STOPPING
FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY ZONE", RESPECTIVELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 6 (Traffic Code), Article 15,
Section 8, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding the following items to Schedule 12
(No Parking Zone):
a. Under "SOUTH HILO":
" Kaumana Drive, Puna side, beginning
at Punahele Street and extending 125 feet in
the makai d.irection."
b. Under "PUNA":
" Keaau Civic Center Road, Puna
(makai) side."
SECTION 2. Chapter 6 (Traffic Code), Article 16,
Section 1, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by amending Item No. 1 under "Hualalai
Street" in Schedule 13 (Passenger-Loading Zones) to read:
"1, Hualalai Street, Puna side, beginning
at a point 320 feet mauka of Kinoole Street
and extending in the mauka direction for a
distance of 65 feet, from 715 A.M. to
8:00 A.M. and from 1:45 P.M. to 2:30 P.M.
on school days only."
SECTION 3. Chapter 6 (Traffic Code), Article 16,
Section 4, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by amending Item No. 3 under "SOUTH HILO"
in Schedule 15 (Bus Stops) to read:
"3. Hualalai Street, Puna side, beginning
at a point 215 feet mauka of Kinoole Street
and extending in the mauka direction for a
distance of 75 feet."
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval.
