ORDINANCE N0. ~_
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER. 6 (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 5, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS .AMENDED, RELATING TO
SPEED LIMIT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION to The "Thirty-five miles per hour" category
in Schedule 5 of Chapter 6, Article 8, Section 5, Hawaii County
Code, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the
following item:
"36. Kahakai Boulevard, from Punawai Street to
its terminus a.t the makai end."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

This Bill amends Chapter 6 ('Craffic Code), Article 8,
Section 5, establishing a 35 mpli speed limit for a portion of
Kahakai Boulevard in Puna.
