VEHICLE OPERATORS PERMITS AND LICENSES AND EXAMINATIONS
THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 8 of Chapter 2, Article 10, Hawaii
County Code, as amended, shall be amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 8. MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVERS' PERMITS AND
LICENSES.
"SECTION 8.01. AMOUNT OF FEES.
The following fees are hereby established for
the application and renewal of motor vehicle
instruction permits and drivers' licenses:
p,. Application for Instruction $2.00
Permit.
g Application for Driver's License
, (not chargeable if applicant
presents evidence of having paid
to Hawaii County the application

for Instruction Permit fee.}

C, Driver's License valid for two $4.00
(2) years
D. Renewal of Driver's License valid $4.00
for two (2} years
E. Driver°s License valid for four $8.00
(4) years
F. Renewal of Driver's License valid
for four (4) years $8.00
G. Duplicate License $2.00
"SECTION 8.02. EXAMINATION FEES.
The following fees are hereby established for
the examination of drivers applying for driver's
license:
A. For category types 4 and 5 $10.00
B. For category types 6 and 7 $12.00
C. For category types 8 through 10 $14.00
"SECTION 8.03. TAXI DRIVER PERMIT FEES.
The following fees are hereby established for
the issuance of taxi driver permits:
A. Initial issuance $10.00
B. Renewal $ 5.00
"SECTION 8.04. DISPOSITION OF FEES.
All fees hereinabove collected shall be
deposited in the General Fund of the County
of Hawaii as County realizations."

SECTION 2. This ordinance will take effect upon
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 10, SECTION 8, HAWAII
COUNTY CODE, RELATING TO FEES CHARGED FOR MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATORS
PERMITS AND LICENSES AND EXAMINATION THEREFOR.
This Bill amends Chapter 2, Article 10, Section 8, Hawaii
County Code, relating to fees charged for motor vehcile operators
permits and licenses and examination therefor.
Date Introduced: November 16, 1977
Copies of the foregoing Bill, in full, are on file in the
Office of the County Clerk for use and examination by the public.
