AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER Ei (TRAFFIC CODE), ARTICLE 16,
SECTION 4, HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1975, AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Schedule 15 (Bus Stops) of Chapter 6,
Article 16, Section 4, Hawaii County Code 1975, as amended,
is hereby amended by adding the following underscored
material under the "SOUTH HILO" category:
Kamehameha Avenue, mauka side, beginning
from a point 10 feet Puna of Haili Street and
extending in the Puna direction for a distance of
95 feet(.] from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday
through Saturday.
" Kinoole Street, makai side, beginning
from a point 10 feet Puna, of the Puna side, of
the Puna-end entrance of Hawaiian Telephone
Company parking lot and extending in the Hamakua
direction for a distance of 195 feet[.] from
6:00 a.m, to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Kilauea Avenue, makai side, beginning
from the Hamakua side of the Puna-end entrance
of Kilauea Center and extending in the Hamakua
direction for a distance of 120 feet[.] from
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
" Kilauea Avenue, mauka side, beginning
from the Puna side of the Hawaii County Employees
Federal Credit Union driveway and extending in the
Puna direction for a distance of 120 feet[.] from
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday
" Pauahi Street, Hamakua side, beginning
from a point 340 feet makai of Kilauea Avenue and
extending 80 feet in the makai direction[.] from
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
" Banyan Drive, both sides, beginning from
the Naniloa Hotel driveway and extending in the
mauka direction for a distance of 130 feet[.] ,
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p_m._, Monday through
Saturday."
SECTION 2. Schedule 15 (Bus Stops) of Chapter 6,
Article 16, Section 4, Hawaii County Code 1975, as amended,
is hereby amended by adding under the "KONA" category:
" Palani Road, South side, beginning
from a.point 258 feet mauka of the First
Hawaiian Bank driveway and extending in
the mauka direction for a distance of 145
feet.
" Palani Road, North side, beginning
from a point 95 feet mauka of the mauka
dr veway of the Kailua Shopping Center and
extending in the mauka direction for a
distance of 150 feet.
" Alii Drive, makai side, beginning
from a point 9 feet north of the Hulihee Palace
hard driveway and extending in the northern
direction for a distance of 75 feet."
SECTION 3. Statutory material to be repealed is
bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, brackets, bracketed material or underscoring
need not be printed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

SECTION 4, HAWAII CUUNTY CODE 197.5, AS AMENllED.
This Bill amends Chapter 6 (Traffic Code), Article 16 Section 4,
Hawaii County Code 1975, as amended, establishing bus stops in
South Hilo and Kona.
