AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE I, HAWAII COUNTY
CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE REMOVAL OF SAND AND OTHF~[
MATERIALS FROM COUNTY PARKS.
BE IT OKDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 3, Article I, Section 4.2A, Hawaii
County Code, as amended, is hereby further amended to read:
"P,. It is hereby declared to be the legislative
intent of the Council of the County of Hawaii to prohibit
the unauthorized removal of sand and other materials
from specified public areas, to wit:
1. Punaluu Beach Park
2. Kaimu Beach Park
3. Kahaluu Park
4. Samuel Spencer Beach Park
5. Honolulu Landing Sand Hill
6. Lehia Beach Park
7. Hilo Bayfront
8. Harry K. Brown Beach Park
9. Kolekole Beach Park
10. Laupahoehoe Point Beach Park
11. White Sands Beach Park
12. Hookena Beach Park
SECTION 2. New material is underscored. When incorporating
this ordinance into the Hawaii County Code, the incorporator
need not include the underscoring.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, ARTICLE I, HAWAII COUNTY
CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE REMOVAL OF SAND AND OTHER
MATERIALS FROM COUNTY PARKS.
This Bill amends Chapter 3, Article I, Hawaii County Code,
as amended, relating to the removal of sand and other materials
from County parks.
Date Introduced: April 1, 1978
