AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6, (TRAFFIC CODE) ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 5, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
SPEED LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Schedule 5 of Chapter 6, .Article 8,
Section 5, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding the following:
Under "TWENTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR" category:
"28. Puako Beach Road, from a point 500 feet
makai of the Rubbish Dump Road southerly
to its terminus.'"
Under "THIRTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR11 category:
"37. Puako Beach Road, from the Queen Kaahumanu
Highway to a point 500 feet makai of the
Rubbish Dump Road."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

This Bill amends Chapter 6, (Traffic Code), Article 8,
Section 5, Hawaii County Code, as amended, relating to speed limits
along the Puako Beach Road.
