AN,ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6, (TRAFFIC CODE) ARTICLE 15,
SECyTION 3, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO STANDING
OR PARKING A VEHICLE AT DRIVEWAYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 3A2(a) of Chapter 6, Article 15,
Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby amended to read:
"(a) In front of or within 4 feet of a public
or private driveway; or within a distance
of up to 30 feet of a public or private
driveway when official signs or markings
are installed;"
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
In printing this ordinance, underscoring need not be
printed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6, (TRAFFIC CODE) ARTICLE 15,
SECTION 3, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO STANDING
OR PARKING A VEHICLE AT DRIVEWAYS.
This Bill amends Chapter 6 (Traffic Code), Article 15,
Section 3, Hawaii County Code, as amended, relating to standing
or parking a vehicle at driveways to provide the Chief Engineer
more flexibility in controlling parking at entrances to highly
used driveways.
Date Introduced: April 1, 1978
