ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING CHAPTER 6, (TRAFFIC CODE) ARTICLE 8,
SECTION 5, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Item 19 under the "FORTY-FIVE MILES PER
HOUR" category in Schedule 5 of Chapter 6, Article 8,
Section 5, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby
amended to read:
"19. Mamalahoa Highway in Waimea, from ~a
point 500 feet Honokaa of the old CCC Camp? Mud
Lane to a point 5,500 feet Honokaa (Fukushima
Store) of the Waimea to Hawi Road."
SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is
bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, brackets, bracketed material and underscoring
need not be printed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
