ORDINANCE NO., 3~~1
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLES 6, 8, AND 15 OF CHAPTER 6,
(TRAFFIC CODE) HAWAII (:OUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO PROHIBITED LEFT TURPd, SPEED LIMIT, NO-PARKING ZONE AND
TIME LIMIT PARKING ZONF'sS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ('OUNCI:L OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 2B (Prohibited Left Turns) of
Chapter 6, Article 6, IIawaii County Code, as amended,
is hereby amended by adding the following item to the
"Prohibited Left Turns" category:
"6. Wailuku Drive at Kinoole Street."
SECTION 2. Schedule 5 (Speed Limits) of Chapter 6,
Article 8, Section 5, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is
hereby amended by adding the following item to the
"Forty-Five Miles Per flour" category:
"24. Hawaii Belt Road, in Ka'u, from a point
two-tenths (2/10) of a mile on the Naalehu
side of the 67 mile post to a point four-
tenths (4/101 of a mile on the Kona side
of the 70 mi:Le post."
SECTION 3. Schedule 11 (Time Limit Parking Zones) of
Chapter 6, Article 15, Section 7C, Hawaii County Code, as
amended, is hereby amended by adding the following item to
the "One Hour Parking Areas" category:
"24. Old Mamalahoa Highway, in Keaau, both
sides, between the Police Station Road
and Mi.o Street. "
SECTION 4. Schedule 12 (No-Parking Zones) of Chapter 6,
Article 15, Section 8B, Hawaiii County Code, as amended, is
hereby amended by adding the following item to the "South
Hilo" category:
"113. Kilauea Avenue, mauka side, beginning
from zi point 200 feet Hamakua of Hualalai
Street: and extending 660 feet in the Puna
direction. "
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
