AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AR'CICLE 7, CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE),
OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODS, AS AMENDED, TO ADD A NEW I'.CEM
TO SCHEDULE 2 OF SECTION 3, KOHALA SUBSECTION, RELATItJG
TO STOP SIGNS, THROUGH S'PREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C07NCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 3, Article 7, Chapter 6, Tra-'fic
Code of the Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby further
amended to add a new iten to Schedule 2, Kohala Subse~:tion,
to read as follows:
"8. Pu'u Pulehu Loop, the main road that
forms a loop through Lakeland Subdivision, in
South Kohala, between its two terminals at
Mamalahoa Highway."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this
ordinance or the application thereof to any person or
circumstances is held irvalid, such invalidity shall not
affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to thie end, the provisions of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This or3inance shall take effect upo~i its
approval.
