ORDINANCE NO. 41~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER 6 (TRAFFIC CODE),
OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CO])E, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING TWO NEW
ITEMS TO SCHEDULE 5 OF ;;ECTION 5, RELATING TO SPECIAI~
SPEED LIMITS, TWENTY-FIVE MILES PER HOUR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI)UNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 5, Article 8, Chapter 6 (Traffic
Code), of the Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended to add :wo (2) new items to Schedule 5,
Twenty-Five Miles Per H~~ur, to read as follows:
"33. Mamalahoa H~hway (Ahualoa Road)
from Honokaa to th~~ Hawaii Belt Road at
Waimea.
"34. Ahualoa Homestead Road."
SECTION 2. Materiel to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. Severa~ility. If any provision of this
ordinance or the application thereof to any person or
circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not
affect other provisions or applications of the ordin~~nce
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upcn its
approval.
