Home My WebLink AboutORD 1979-476 1976-1980BILL NO. 51$ COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE A7O: 9r~~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.29 THE CITY OF HILO ZONE MAP OF CHAPTER 8 (ZONING CODE), ARTICLE 2, HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM LIMITED INDUSTRIAL (ML-20) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG) AT WAIAKEA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 2-2-47:6 AND 2-2-47: PORTION OF 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Section 7.29 of Chapter 8 (Zoning Code), Article 2, Hawaii County Code, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following subsection: "7.29(vvv). The district classification of the following areas situated at Hawaiian Home Lands of Panaewa,-Tract 1 Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, shall be General Commercial (CG): Beginning at the Southwest corner of this parcel of land on the Easterly side of Kanoelehua Avenue, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station: "HALAI being 7,656.16 feet South and 10,717.79 feet East and thence running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South: 1. 189° 30' 1,292.06 feet along Kanoelehua Avenue; Thence along a curve to the right, with a radius of 30.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 2. 229° 45' 38.77 feet; 3. 270° 00' 1,068.53 feet along the Proposed Makaala Street Extension: Thence along a curve to the right, with a radius of 30.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 4. 315° 00' 42.43 feet 5. 360° 00' 1,264.67 feet along the Proposed Ohuohu Street Extension: Thence along a curve to the right, with a radius of 30.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 6. 42° 26° 26" 40.49 feet; Thence along a curve to the right, along the Proposed Puainako Street Extension (East), with a radius of 2,340.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 7. 85° 17' 26" 33.45 feet; 8. 85° 42' 1,177.90 feet along the Proposed Puainako Street Extension (East); Thence along a curve to the right, with a radius of 100.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being: 9. 137° 36' 157.39 feet to the point of beginning and containing a Gross area of 38.9753 ACRES "All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto, and by reference made a part hereof." SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
